Little Paris Group
Evidence appears to suggest that the group, identified in part as "Delilah's Group" by her sister Mediel and her husband Jack Hoskins, was a group of artists, writers, journalists and other educated professional women who worked to advance equality in America in their respective fields while traveling the world. The group also sent Delilah cards. See Postcards from friends (link below). Who started the group doesn't matter as much as these group of interracial women and men, who were friends first, worked to move the needle on justice and equality. Delilah traveled to Paris to visit Lois Jones in the 30's and would have hung out with artists like Maurice Utrillio (His work is in DWP Collection) having amazing cultural experiences. It is not a surprise that Lois, Celine, Delilah, and Alma would want to start a movement.
